There may be an issue with the newer stock of Icom IC R30 radios. The ones with a serial number beginning with 16002… seem to be the affected radios. The earlier, 16001… serial numbers seem to be working fine so far. This problem is unacceptable and I’m going to have to return my second brand new radio after receiving it yesterday.
