#70: Digital Oscilloscope Bandwidth Measurement – direct and using risetime

This is a followup video to my last one which discussed the basics of oscilloscope bandwidth. This video answers a viewer question about digital scope BW and usability above the rated bandwidth, as well as making the 3dB bandwidth measurement two ways – directly, and through a risetime measurement. In each case, one has to be careful that the signal source is “known” to be flat over the frequency range of interest, or that the risetime of the test signal is either known, or significantly faster than the risetime of the scope response.
