A little 220 MHz work! Ham Radio

I recently found this unposted video in the archives and thought I’d put it out there.

My buddy Doug-KG5UNK & I were using a 220 megahertz repeater in the Austin, Texas area.

220MHz is kind of the forgotten band in amateur radio. You can talk almost anywhere you want to on the band and it sounds really great. I got the TYT-9000D about a year ago and I need to get on that band more.

If we don’t use it we could loose it, so get out there on 220 if/when you can!
