DX Commander – behaviour in 100 to 120kph gusts

This is my DX Commander All-Band-Vertical, with the 80m extension attached.
Storm Ellen brought some interesting gusts to the neighbourhood of suburban Castletroy, and this video documents how the antenna behaves with two sets of four guys, at the second and third spreader plates.
The top sections do whip about, but the pole is designed to do exactly that.

Good job from Callum of DX Engineering in the design of the antenna, it’s more sturdy than it looks – and it performs very very well.
