While traveling to Massachusetts I was able to visit Rhode Island to knock out a park activation there as it is one of the 5 states that does not have any valid summit locations. Being winter I wanted to get this knocked out quickly and I wasn’t disappointed. I pulled out the IC-705 and threw up my home-brew dipole and immediately got on the air. My first contact was DX and it didn’t slow down from there. I ended with 21 contacts in 20 minutes. Lets see how it went.
