Unfortunately, all the latest dual band DMR radios (as far as I know) seem to be using direct conversion receivers instead of the superior super-heterodyne receivers. In this video I show why direct conversion is so much worse. These direct conversion receivers are usually (if not always) implemented from single chip solutions, like the RDA1846 for example which you can find more info on with a search online.
