Why Is A Baofeng UV-5R Not Allowed On GMRS Frequencies Or FRS Channels & What Will The FCC Do?

The Baofeng UV-5R is a ham radio and according to the FCC you are not permitted to use the UV-5R or any ham radio to talk on GMRS channels – but, why? In this video I explain the FCC rules about using a Baofeng on GMRS and what the FCC will do if you do use your Baofeng UV-5R on GMRS frequencies.
Disclosure & clarification: NO FCC rules or regulations were violated in making this video. I did NOT transmit on my UV-5R on GMRS or any other frequencies while recording this video. Sophisticated editing techniques and CGI were used to make it appear that I used a UV-5R to transmit on a GMRS channel, but rest assured, it was all make-believe.
