Will your LiFePO4 battery overcharge at 3.35V when you absorb long enough?

Today with another test where we charge the cell to 3.35V and let it absorb until the charger turns off. Will this ever happen actually or does the cell continue to take energy and eventually overcharge?
Is it safe to charge to 3.35V only in a stationary environment or does this harm your battery eventually?
