I’ve had people suggest that I set myself up to receive kickbacks from web sites that I send my viewers to for purchasing something I might feature in a video. That would be a great deal for me, but necessarily for my viewers. In this video I show why I just cannot bring myself to do it. I’m not saying that desperate times might not call for desperate measures someday, but, as long as there is a team of Patreon supporters to help keep me from needing the revenue that commercialization would provide, I will remain independent.
